Cheap Treat Tuesday!

Something a little different for a middle of the week treat to yourself!

Is it just me or is anyone else really into white plates and bowls etc? They're so fancy looking and when I came across this I couldn't wait to tell you all about it. So I picked up two of these cute heart shaped dishes in would you believe it Pound land! Obviously only being £1 I thought I'd pick up two as it wasn't exactly going to break the bank. I initially got for my mam to put some nibbles in when she has people round but they can be used for anything and we now own quite a few!

I've currently got one in my room filled with jewellery which I think looks so minimalistic yet really cool too. Personally I think any blogger would love this as it looks so pretty in your bedroom either by the side of your bed or on your dressing table. The possibilities are endless, anything can be stored in them; make up, food, sunglasses, hair accessories or even your whole Muji draw full of samples- yes Sarah I'm talking about you!

Also if you look below you'll see an interesting little box marked 'Lucy Addison Jewellery' and I'm really excited to show you all what's inside, she makes gorgeous handmade pieces so watch this space for an up and coming blog post all about that!

Cheap Treat Tuesday!

Makeup storage is so popular at the minute so when I found this I knew I had to mention it. I don't have a dressing table so I like to make my set up look as cute as possible!

I needed to start a new skincare routine and when I found this and thought it would be perfect for some cotton wool to make it easier to get to and so much prettier than just shoved in a draw! I'm seeing these types of glass jars all over recently but I picked this up in Poundland! You heard me, I got this for £1!

This is 100% why I started cheap treat Tuesdays, to let you all know of the gorgeous products and items you can find that are so inexpensive!

Where I store my makeup brushes.. HELP!

For this post I've cleared my background and minimilised my makeup brushes for you all to see it clearly.

This is how I store and keep my makeup brushes.. a candle holder! I'm aware that this isn't the prettiest thing and I am looking for a better alternative but I only want something that I'm sure about, as serious as that sounds! I like my friend Sarah's idea of a pretty glass jar but I can never seem to find one, you can check out her blog here where she posts about every from beauty and fashion to lifestyle and she too has an instagram for her blog!

The brushes here are from MAC and the eyelash curler, which I never use is a trusty little one from Primark. If anyone spots a nice jar or makeup brush holder then do let me know! My ideal brush holder is them lovely little white plant pots from Ikea, seen here but unfortunately they cant be delivered and I don't live anywhere near the store.

How I store my lipsticks

I'm so into makeup storage and organisation (as you can see my Muji draws in every post!) and my lipsticks were taking up too much space in my acrylic draws. I've been searching for a lipstick holder for a while but I wasn't prepared to pay the silly prices people were asking for. I then found this.

Another eBay beauty bargain!

This little acrylic lipstick holder has 24 spaces for you to put all your lip products in, more than enough room. I don't even have close to 24 lipsticks as you can see below but this gives me the room to expand my collection. I have my eye on some MAC lipsticks and they will look extra pretty with two I already own.

This beauty was only £2.57 from the link here - an easy way to not only see your makeup clearly but to organise it and to then decide what else you want of course!
