Bumble and Bumble - Blow Dry Repair

Bumble and Bumble is a brand that never even crossed my mind, I'm not really too into haircare and wouldn't particularly want to spend my money on it.

When I left my job working at Boots I was gifted a few samples from all the counters, these were one of them. I didn't really think much of them but after dying my hair I noticed it was extremely dry and in such terrible condition. I decided to give these a try and I've now fell in love.

When I've come out of the shower I towel dry my hair and then using a bit of this run it all through my hair mainly concentrating on the ends and where any split ends would be hiding. After drying and straightening my hair I've noticed this gives it such a shine and makes it feel so much more hydrated and soft. This product or should I say products also is a heat protect which is a double bonus.

My hair still has a long way to go but this definitely helps. As this is £23 for the full size I would go in and ask for a few samples first as I personally wouldn't want to spend that sort of money on haircare, especially if I hadn't tried it before.

Addicted to Pinterest

Pinterest is something I'm constantly always on and browsing through. It's such a great outlet for inspiration and ideas from anything to make up and fashion to food and interior design. I thought if I love it then some of you guys might too so hence the reason I'm sharing it with you today.

Pinterest is basically split into various categories, you click or follow a category and everything related will show up on your homepage. If you see anything you like or want to save for later you can 'pin' it to a board on your own 'wall'. You can have as many boards as you like and for me mine include; Home, Travel, Weight loss, Things to do, Tips & Tricks, For when I'm older and of course Fashion and Beauty.

I cant rave about Pinterest enough, I guarantee anything you've ever wondered how to do or make then this is where you will find the answer. Its full of recipes and products that you could ever possibly desire but also has many practical things like how to save money and orangise yourself/ family and expenses. I personally find it great to plan for the future, I've basically designed my whole house on my Home board and I've also looked at ways to get more for your money in terms of when to buy products and what to buy. The ideas that I have came across are also just incredible, many are for when I potentially have children such as activities to do with them and memories to make.

If you havent taken a look at Pinterest do so now! You can also click here for my personal Pinterest.

Cheap Treat Tuesday

Liquid lipsticks are all the rage recently and I wanted to try my hand at a few, after seeing a few youtubers talk about these I thought I would go to eBay and purchase some for myself.

These were 99p each so I wasn't too bothered if they weren't any good. Much to my surprise they are! I got five colours because I really couldn't choose.

I purchased mainly mauve/ pink/ nudes but then I thought having some purples in their too would be great for a bold statement lip. These are honestly so lovely to apply, they have a dofer applicator that dispenses just the right about of product. They take a few seconds to apply and then dry completely matte. The colour pay off is incredible and they are so pigmented.

I recently went out for a meal and a few drinks and the colour didn't budge, I didn't even have to re-apply. Although they dry matte they aren't really drying on the lips, they're quite smooth.

I really love these and will definitely be purchasing some more in the future!

A lost gem - Bobbi Brown lip colour

I remember when this was my first high end lipstick that wasn't mac- I bought it for around £9 in an outlet store and I was obsessed with it. However I sadly lost it and after looking for what seemed like forever I finally found it in an old bag!

I was so pleased and couldn't wait to do my make up and wear it. Its such a 'me' colour, a perfect muted pinky nude which is something that basically my entire lipstick collection is based around. This is a semi-matte finish and as its not trying its quite perfect- it lasts all day yet doesn't dry out my lips. Its very creamy upon application and is sheer yet pigmented at the same time.. if that makes sense?!

It's a very wearable colour, perfect for day or night. You could team this with a lip liner such as whirl and then a lipgloss over the top for a more polished, dramatic look. I really would recommend these Bobbi Brown lipsticks and especially if your in an outlet store keep a look out as you can find some amazing bargains!
