Favourite highlighter combination / How I get that highlighted look

As I'm sure you all know highlighters are my favourite product to play around with, I love testing all the different ones, mixing them together and also adding them to my foundation.

However I've always mixed up my look, until now. I have found the most perfect highlighter and concealer combination to truly give that glow and iridescent look - and on a budget too!

To conceal my under eye area and brighten it up I've been loving the LA Girl Pro concealer in the colour Porcelain. It's quite a dewy concealer but I set it with a powder to prevent any creasing. I'm sure I picked this up on eBay for around £1-£2. Another thing I love other than the cheap price tag is that when its all blended out wether that you have used a beauty blender or a brush it just glows! If I wanted too I wouldn't even have to put any powder highlight over the top because it gives such a bright and awake look!

A while ago I picked up the Collection contour and highlight set purely for review purposes, I never imagined I'd use it nor love it! The contour shade for a start is amazing and is personally just the right colour for me. I don't use this for contouring as I've slightly drifted away from that trend over the last few months but I do use it as a bronzer to add some colour to my complexion. This alone is amazing and teamed with the highlight shade its just perfect.

What I love about the highlighter is that it's a shade that I don't actually own, I thought it would be a similar colour to The Balm's Mary Lou-Manizer but its not! It's more silver toned if that makes sense and has appears holographic when applied. The only way you'll be able to understand is if you went and swatched it. I use this on a fan brush from eBay and brush it on diagonally from the outer corner of my eye to my cheek bone.

What are your favourite highlighters?

NYX Butter Lip Glosses // Review

I've only ever tried one product from NYX before but never really gave it a proper go so I thought I would pick up some new items and let you all know what I thought!

NYX is now sold on Feel Unique so I done my research and googled swatches and ending up purchasing 3 of their butter lip glosses.

The shades I chose were Tiramisu, Creme Brule and Eclair and I actually thought that they all looked sort of similar until they came but as you can tell they're slightly different! As you can see from the swatches they're so pigmented and truly buttery. When I touched them they appeared sticky but on application they weren't at all.

Im actually really impressed with these, especially if your wanting a glossy lip with not too much colour! For me these are perfect for university and work as they give the effect of not trying but still looking gorgeous.

I can't wait to try more from NYX, especially lip products!

Personalised Soap & Glory clean on me

After seeing on Facebook that a Soap & Glory photo booth was coming to my local Boots store and that you could personalise a bottle of clean on me shower gel I was so excited! I love personalised products and its even better when its a product that I love!

This was £6.50 and not free but I didn't mind as it was something cool and different and generally just something that I wouldn't be able to get again.

The photo machine was everything you would imagine; pink with a canon camera and the choice of 'sassy', 'bubbly' or 'dreamer' as the heading for your photo. I do have to mention that the tech guy was amazingly good looking too- so you know, a bonus really.

Both me and Sarah both chose 'Sassy' and then opted for the peace pose to give a bit of fun to it all. However me being me I did stick my photo on wonky and with air bubbles so it does look a bit messy but oh well! The only problem I have now is to chose wether to use it or keep it!
